SERVICE PROJECT! KFB Service Project: for our service project this semester we are working with Kids’ Food Basket. They are in need of 6000 breakfast bundles this spring break! These will be handed out to children in need throughout Kent County.

We’ll be collecting the following.
Bring: one or more boxes of the following items
· Zipper lock quart size bag
· Single serving cereal box
· 100% fruit juice box
· Pop Tart pack
· Small Raisin Box or 100% Vitamin C Fruit Snack
You can start bringing them in NOW! Please bring your children to help us package the items on Tuesday March 18th at 6:30pm. http://www.kidsfoodbasket.org/
Seder Meal: (Passover meal similar to what Jesus would have partook in)- Religious Ed classes are going to be participating in the Seder Meal on March 30th and April 2nd during regular class time. This will teach them what the Passover would have been like for Jesus, what it is like for Jews today and also how it relates to our Catholic Mass. To also prepare for this, and to start talking about lent, we read stories about Moses and the first Passover. We are asking each class to bring in items to help with the meal. We also need chaperones. Items needed are: Shredded lettuce (1bag/class) * Carrots cut in pieces (1 bag/class) * Celery (cut in pieces (1 bag per class) *Grape juice (1 bottle per every 5 kids)--- Please discuss with your catechist.
