The Most Holy Trinity

This weekend we celebrate the Most Holy Trinity. This phrase from the Gospel caught my attention this week:
“I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now.”
What was going on at the time when he spoke these words to the disciples? What do these words mean in our own lives today? There is so much that we cannot comprehend, but we have the Holy Spirit to guide us in understanding and through the people we meet. Many times, we may not fully understand a challenging situation or something undesired, yet we are called to lead with hearts of faith and trust.
Are there things that are hard for you to understand? Where do you need to trust in God’s plan and direction? May you take comfort in knowing that you are not meant to carry burdens alone and understand everything. God’s plan and understanding is always better than ours.
