Ascension of the Lord
Dear Friends in Christ,
I am thrilled to share with you the incredible progress we have made with our “Restore All Things in Christ” campaign. First, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all those who have turned in their pledge cards for the project. Commitment Weekend was a huge success, and I am so grateful for all the generous pledges we have already received!
As of now, pledges received for the sanctuary project total an astounding $1,642,321. This is a significant milestone, and we are well on our way to reaching our goal. With only $357,679 left to go, I am confident that together, we can make this vision a reality. Your continued support and generosity are crucial as we strive to update our worship space.
I want to take this opportunity to encourage those who have not yet returned their pledge cards to do so before the end of May. Every pledge, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to reaching our goal. The contributions received have been incredible, and I am deeply grateful for your dedication to our parish community.
I am filled with excitement as we move forward with this project, and cannot wait to see it next year at this time. I look forward to gathering in this updated space to “give God thanks and praise.”
Congratulations to the teenagers who recently received the sacrament of Confirmation and the children who made their First Holy Communion. It is very special for me to see the excitement of the kids when they receive Jesus for the first time in the Eucharist. I pray they always know how much Jesus loves them and nourishes them through this sacrament, which is the source and summit of our faith! Confirmation is a sacrament that emboldens us to be a witness of Jesus to the world. During this Easter season may we all be more willing to share the powerful message of the Gospel with all those we love.
I also want to express my sincere gratitude to Elizabeth, Glenda, and all our dedicated parent volunteers and catechists who have played an instrumental role in nurturing the faith of our youth. You all put in countless hours and your tireless efforts have helped to shape the spiritual lives of our young parishioners, and for that, I am incredibly grateful. Thank you!
