SPX Website

One of the many ways our community communicates is through our parish website. Several months ago, I commissioned a team of staff members and parishioners to begin discussing how we might be able to update our current website.  We decided to approach Diocesan Publications to begin the process of designing, building, and eventually publishing our updated site. Currently we are in the build phase of the website and are expecting it to being ready for launch mid-late August. We are really excited about simplifying our site to be more user friendly, inviting to visitors, and effective in communicating information to the parish.

Our goals for the updated site include:                                           

• Make the website simple and easy to use – that the website has important information about Mass times that are easily accessible
• Informative – people can find out about the parish and staff efficiently
• Inviting and attractive – my hope is that when people visit our website, they see what we all know to be true about the St. Pius X community: it’s a wonderful, energetic, and faith-filled community where people encounter Christ through the sacraments and each other.

The updated website is one of the reasons I am hoping to collect testimonials from parishioners.  A simple one sentence snapshot of your experiences at this parish can help encourage those looking for a Christ-centered community to belong. These experiences could be from an encounter with Christ through the sacraments, the community, or service and retreat experiences.
