Youth Choir
For 3rd through 12 graders. Led by Music Director Meghan Schaut and singer and music educator, Jamie Purkovic. This is an awesome way for our youth to work together across age groups in a ministry very meaningful to our worship!
Rehearsals are two Wednesdays per month, and we sing one 10:30am Sunday Mass each month.

Guitar Group
We are excited to expand this group during the 2024-2025 season!
This group sings for the 5:30pm Saturday Masses, with rehearsal an hour before at 4:30pm. Instrumentalists and vocalists welcome, auditions required.
Music reading and instrument proficiency as well as experience playing/singing in groups is necessary as we have a lot of music to cover each week!
Chamber Choir
Auditions required; ages high school through adult. This group is made of talented musicians with strong vocal technique and extensive choral experience. Many members have studied music or theater in high school and college. Strong note-reading and sightreading skills are required as we move quickly through new music.
Attendance is required at weekly Wednesday rehearsals September through June, at all weekend choir Masses, Feast Days, Christmas Eve, all Masses of Holy Week, and Easter. They also sing for communal penance services and other special church events.
This group is focused and disciplined, with a variety of repertoire including classical choral works, contemporary cantatas, praise and worship music, all styles of weekend church music, a cappella, and more. Auditions are required as we have limited physical space in the choir area, and we want to be sure that new voices coming in will work well with the current group. Contact Meghan for more information at mschaut@spxcatholic.org.
Resurrection Choir
This group sings for funerals, which are usually at 11am. They meet 30 minutes before each funeral to rehearse. No auditions are required, and while there is plenty of training in the group, it’s more relaxed and focused on the ministry of supporting our grieving families with our presence, prayers, and song. This group has grown a lot through the last year! People who are available in the mornings have enjoyed coming together and growing in community and friendship. Many choose to stay for the funeral luncheons to socialize. The group includes several retired choir members, as well as others who sing purely for the joy of serving in song. Contact Meghan at mschaut@spxcatholic.org to be on our email list.
