Twentieth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Dear Friends in Christ,
Restore All Things in Christ Update
I want to provide you with an important update on our “Restore All
Things in Christ” Sanctuary Project. As I mentioned earlier this summer,
we have reached our $2 million goal in pledges! Some parishioners have
reached out to ask if we’ve actually collected $2 million in cash. To
clarify, while we have indeed met our pledge goal, we still need those
pledges to be fulfilled to have the necessary funds on hand for the
project. We apologize for any confusion, but please know how incredibly
grateful we are for your generous support. Your commitment to this
project is truly appreciated, and we are excited to move forward.
So, where are we now? We are currently in the process of receiving bids
for a construction manager and hope
to have the company selected by the
end of August. We have collected
RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and are
now in the process of narrowing
down our options. Please pray for us as we discern the right company to
partner with for this project. Your prayers and support are invaluable as
we make these important decisions.
As for the start date, I am still hopeful that we will break ground in
November. If I had to choose, I would prefer to be in Danner during
Christmas, as it would be wonderful to complete this project in time to
celebrate Easter in our newly renovated sanctuary. However, there are
still many moving parts, and a lot needs to go right for us to begin in
November. In general, we anticipate starting the project sometime
between November and January 1. Please continue to keep this timeline
in your prayers.
Thank you!
Lastly, I want to thank all of you for your incredible support of Fr. John
Bosco and the mission in Uganda. Your generosity and prayers are
making a real difference, and I am so grateful for the way our parish has
come together to support this important cause.
Thank you again for your continued support, and may God bless each of
you abundantly.
In Christ’s Love and Friendship
